AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to be featured on ESPN as Part of X Games Aspen
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 23, 2014) – Later tonight, some of AMA Pro Flat Track’s most notable riders will be exposed to a national audience on ESPN as part of X Games Aspen. Defending Grand National Champion Brad Baker, 2012 Grand National Champion Jared Mees, and Nichole Mees will be mounted on the all-new Harley-Davidson Street 750 as the trio was recently filmed riding specially modified bikes on an ice course in Michigan.
“The Harley-Davidson Street 750 definitely gets up and runs,” said Jared Mees. “The throttle response is more instant and it’s definitely a lot snappier and has a lower center of gravity than the Harley-Davidson XR750. I think Harley-Davidson should consider this bike to compete at the Grand National level at some point. I would be all for this decision.”
It’s been quite the offseason for AMA Pro Flat Track and its star-studded lineup of riders. Just last week, defending champ Brad Baker competed and was victorious against Marc Marquez and company in the Superprestigio Dirt Track event in Barcelona, Spain. Now, Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees will be the poster children for Harley-Davidson’s latest motorcycle – the Harley-Davidson Street 750. The footage will be aired on ESPN sometime between 9:00-11:00 p.m. EST tonight, January 23, 2014, and will be posted to Harley-Davidson’s website with a second and final showing of the clip this Sunday, January 26, 2014.
