AKRON, Ohio (April 30, 2014) - Its race season in the Windy City and the #91 Bonneville Performance/Castrol/Triumph Factory AMA Pro Racing Expert Twin team is blowing into town with a very special appearance! National Champion rider Mikey Martin will be on hand with the team at Motoworks Chicago Triumph, 1901 S. Western Ave., Chicago IL, 60608 Friday May 23rd with special event hours 10 AM until 9PM. With the Springfield Mile AMA Pro Flat Track races being held over Memorial Day Weekend, Mikey and the team would like to invite you, to join them for, photographs, autographs, Q and A from fans to the team, see the bikes up close and of course they would enjoy introducing new fans to the sport of Flat Track! *(All area media are also invited to this event, as well as the Track in Springfield, Ill. If you have not seen these racers in action you are missing out on some of the most exciting, raw racing you will ever see. Flat track racing is about horsepower, skill and adrenalin pumping excitement! These teams and riders put on a great show for the fans every year. The Springfield Mile as it’s called is one of the oldest running races on the national circuit and always a fan favorite. With its roots in flat track dating back to the 1930’s, Springfield is hallowed ground for these riders. Many of the sports greats earned their “#1 plate” signifying the #1 rider of the season. To this day the “Springfield Mile” carries great importance.

Motoworks Chicago Triumph is also organizing a motorcycle ride from their dealership to the racetrack on Saturday Morning! We encourage all riders to take part on this special ride and join us at the track to cheer on Mikey Martin #91 and the Team as they conquer the Monster Springfield Mile at 130 Mph +!
