AMA Pro Racing to broadcast March 8 DAYTONA Flat Track Amateur Championship on FansChoice.tv
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 5, 2015) – In an effort to further boost excitement for the 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track season, which kicks off March 12-13 with a doubleheader at DAYTONA Flat Track, AMA Pro Racing and FansChoice.tv will broadcast the DAYTONA Flat Track Amateur Championship on March 8.
Racing will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and fans can watch in high definition and free of charge at FansChoice.tv. The broadcast will be a fantastic showcase of the grassroots beginnings every star athlete in the AMA Pro Flat Track paddock has gone through.
“Any time we can elevate what we deliver on FansChoice.tv, and showcase some amazing amateur racing talent that all riders can connect with, it’s a win-win,” said Michael Gentry, Chief Operating Officer of AMA Pro Racing.
The DAYTONA Flat Track Amateur Championship, which features 23 different classes, will help kick off Daytona Beach’s famous Bike Week and serve as a small preview of what fans can expect to see just days later when the best dirt track riders in the world take to the quarter-mile limestone circuit.
Schedule of events for the DAYTONA Flat Track Amateur Championship:
10 a.m. – Riders meeting
11 a.m. – Practice (two, four-lap sessions)
Half hour after practice concludes, five-lap heat races begin
Half hour after heat races conclude, five-lap semifinals begin
Half hour after semifinals conclude, seven-lap Main Events begin
7 p.m. – Main Events complete
Every round of the 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track season will be available live, in high definition and free of charge for fans to watch online at www.FansChoice.tv.
