Castle Rock

The Castle Rock TT will be the first of two TT events on the 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track schedule when the series rolls into the Pacific Northwest on Aug. 1. Riders will be tested on their 450cc machines on a track that also includes a right-hand turn and a jump for the first time this season.

Henry Wiles, practically unbeatable at the Peoria TT, took the checkered flag at Castle Rock in 2014, giving Kawasaki its first ever win at the venue. Jeffrey Carver, Jr., Sammy Halbert and Jake Johnson all own wins at Castle Rock, and when the crowd of bikes dives in a tight pack into the corners here, it’s anyone’s guess as to who might emerge in front.

In the GNC2 class, Dominic Colindres took checkered flat at the Mt. St. Helens Motorcycle Club in 2014.

The series’ only stop in the state of Washington in 2015 means it’s the best chance for hometown fans of local riders such as Brad Baker and Halbert to see them race.
