Upper Arlington, Ohio (August 22, 2014) - Local Virginia-area combat injured veterans will be embedded into a AMA Pro Flat Track team this Saturday at Colonial Downs in New Kent, Va. The collaboration was made possible by VETMotorsports, a national non-profit who's mission is to honor and empower combat injured veterans through active participation in motor sports. The Bonneville Performance / Castrol Moto / Triumph Factory team, fielding the #91 entry of Mikey Martin, will be assisting the program all Saturday.

“VETMotorsports is very much looking forward to this event in New Kent, Va. I know that the Bonneville Performance / Castrol Moto / Triumph Factory team is excited as well. We'll have some local combat injured Marines participating and getting as much hands-in time as they can handle. We are encouraging everyone to come out, see some great racing and personally thank our participants for their service,” stated VETMotorsports Executive Director and Founder Peter Cline.
