D & D Performance Exhausts to grant contingency money to select AMA Pro Flat Track riders at Springfield Mile
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 27, 2014) – Earlier this month, D & D Performance Exhausts, a leading performance motorcycle exhaust company, agreed to offer up a $500 contingency to the top finisher who uses D & D Exhaust pipes in the AMA Pro Expert Twins class in select AMA Pro Flat Track main events.
Kenny Coolbeth’s dominating Indy Mile victory on Aug. 9, earned him his 32nd GNC victory. Since Coolbeth’s Zanotti Racing Harley-Davidson was sporting D & D Performance Exhaust pipes, he was granted the first of three scheduled $500 payouts that has been graciously contributed by D & D.
This Labor Day weekend at the Springfield Mile marks the second opportunity for any rider whose motorcycle holds D & D Exhaust pipes to earn a little extra cash. Notable riders with D & D Performance Exhaust pipes include defending Grand National Champion Brad Baker, 2012 Grand National Champion Jared Mees, Kenny Coolbeth, Nichole Mees, and GNC class rookie Shayna Texter.
Opening ceremonies for this weekend’s Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds are scheduled to begin 1 p.m. ET (11 a.m. PT). this Saturday, Aug. 31. Following the Springfield Mile, the Calistoga Half-Mile, in Calistoga Calif., scheduled for Sept. 27, will be the final chance for D & D Performance Exhaust riders to cash in in 2014.
