Heavy Rainfall at Lima Half-Mile Postpones AMA Pro Flat Track Round 4 until Sunday, June 30

LIMA, Ohio (June 29, 2013) - The AMA Pro Flat Track presented by J&P Cycles race scheduled to run today, June 29, 2013 at the Allen County Fairgrounds, has been postponed due to inclement weather. Officials from AMA Pro Racing announced that the event, weather permitting, will take place tomorrow, June 30, 2013, with opening ceremonies beginning at 12:30 p.m. local time and racing scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. local time.

"It's an unfortunate set of circumstances for this to happen but the track isn't in any shape to race on today," said Dan Johnsen, Director of AMA Pro Flat Track. "We're going to try to give it a go tomorrow and we're optimistic that the weather will help us out."

Gates open tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. with practice scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. local time.
