Jared Mees and Nichole Cheza to Exchange Vows at Springfield Mile

August 30, 2013 - A big Labor Day weekend "Racing/Celebration" will be the focus at Saturday and Sundays IMDA - AMA Pro Flat Track presented by J&P Cycles Grand National Championship- Springfield Mile National double header. Reigning GNC Champion #1 Jared Mees will be exchanging wedding vows with longtime girlfriend and fellow Grand National superstar Nichole Cheza #15. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday afternoon during the open paddock from 12:30-12:45pm. The Grand National Championship's "First Couple" will have an invitation only reception following the races Sunday evening at the fairgrounds with close family, friends, and sponsors. Special edition wedding t-shirts will be available for purchase during the open paddock on both Saturday and Sundays events. Be sure to stop by Jared's or Nichole's pit area to wish them luck, and in their future as husband and wife.
On Saturday's National, Jared and his Rogers Racing Team, will have the Saddlemen hospitality tent set up for friends and fans to enjoy with autograph signing and the fan experience photo opportunity. Be sure to stop in and check out theSaddlemen Hospitality tent when the paddock opens for spectators from 12-12:45pm.
This should be a great weekend of AMA Pro Flat Track Championship Racing. The points chase for the Grand National Championship, and the coveted #1 plate is turning into a real close battle as only 28 points separate the top 4 riders with 4 rounds left to race in this year's series.
