Kevin Vance Eager For Flat Track Finale At Pomona

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. (October 21, 2009) - AMA Pro Flat Track Racing competitor Kevin Vance (22p) certainly has showcased his talents this season on the circuit. His goal at the beginning was to finish in the top 20 at seasons' end. Currently in position twenty-one, Vance, who leaves tonight for the west coast, hopes to make the main event and attain his goal.

Vance's 2009 program is accredited to the following sponsors, Team Movin, Kalguard Racing, Espy Motorsports, Motion Pro, TNT Action Sports, Peoria MC, Local 649, and Cheney Engineering. The significant support of: Mike Cory, Randy Blackwell, Turbo, Greg Crow Racing, LS Ready Mix and Stan Camp have allowed this trip to take place.

Vance's best finishes to date are a 9th at the Springfield Mile and aboard the singles, a 12th place at Peoria.

This trip marks Vance's first appearance to California. He is scheduled to race in two events prior to the finale, Willow Springs and Perris Short Track. Utilizing these two tracks prior to Pomona will allow Kevin to get used to California dirt.

Recently, Vance has launched his new personal racing website under www.kevinvanceracing.com and signed on with She Loves Racing to further his program in 2010. Other plans for next season have not yet been finalized.
