(January 25, 2013) - Kiesow Racing and Jeffrey Carver Jr. team up again for the 2013 AMA Pro Flat Track season. The team originally joined forces in 2012 and became top contenders in the series. They ended the year in 8th place with one podium and 10 top ten finishes. This year they plan to win their first national and finish in the top five. With Jeffrey racing, the potential is unlimited.

The Kiesow’s have a long history of participating in flattrack racing as racers, dedicated fans, event promoters, and team sponsors. 2012 was their first year at running a professional race team. Dave maintained the motorcycles and kept them going throughout the year. “I felt very confident with the equipment and so pleased we never had a mechanical failure all year”, said Jeffrey Carver, Jr. “I am thrilled to be back on the team for 2013”. The team is based near Springfield, IL, the Mecca of dirt track racing. The legendary track there is where dreams come true and champions have been crowned. It is the place that inspired Kiesow racing to chase those dreams and long for a championship.

Jeffrey Carver, Jr. is also from Illinois. He started racing at age 4 and has never slowed down. He won multiple titles in the AMA Amateur Grand Championships in Springfield, IL and DuQuoin, IL, including the AMA Horizon Award. In 2009 he began racing at the pro level and the following year in 2010 he won the AMA Pro Singles Championship title. Then in 2011 he became an expert rider and earned the national number 23. His first year as an expert he finished 11th place in the point standings. It was in 2012 he joined the Kiesow Racing team and finished in 8th place. “Jeffrey is a very talented rider and we have no doubt he will win his first national this year,” said Dave Kiesow. “We are fortunate to have him racing our bikes and we will try to provide him with the equipment he needs to realize his outstanding potential.”

The Kiesow racing team came from a lifelong dream but dreams don’t pay the bills.
