McElroy Packaging Continues Sponsorship with Texter Siblings for 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track Season
Willow Street, PA (April 1, 2015) – The 2015 AMA Pro Flat Track season will provide new challenges for Cory & Shayna Texter. The only brother/sister to earn professional national numbers in the history of AMA Pro Racing will both be with new teams on new bikes with new goals in mind. One thing that remains the same from 2014 is their partnership with McElroy Packaging.
McElroy Packaging has been supplying Northern Ohio with high quality packaging products and services since 1978. Their manufacturer facility in Wooster, Ohio houses a design studio that allows them to create custom box shapes, cut-outs, and designs. They specialize in customer service and creating relationships with their customers.
Larry and Steve McElroy are life long motorcycling enthusiasts. Both ride on the street and have grown to love the sport of AMA Pro Flat Track. “In my eyes, it’s the best form of racing on the planet,” said Larry McElroy, President of McElroy Packaging. “We come to as many races as we can each season and we are thrilled to be supporting the Texters again this year.”
The relationship started after Shayna’s big win in 2011 at the Knoxville Half Mile. After reading about the win in American Motorcyclist, The McElroy family reached out to her and offered support for her program. They added support for Cory last season when he decided to make a return to the series. “We have a lot of fun helping out Cory and Shayna,” said Steve McElroy. “Like our customers, we created a very good relationship with the siblings. They are like family to us and we are proud of their accomplishments and honored be involved with their programs again this season.”
The Texters credit a lot of their success over the past couple of seasons to McElroy packaging. “They were one of the first to step up and offer support after my Knoxville win,” said Shayna Texter. “They helped kickstart my career when I needed it most and I am thrilled to continue our relationship.”
“I wouldn’t have been racing last season without their support,” said Cory Texter. “They do a lot for us and are true fans of the sport. We were able to tour their facility a couple of times and it’s not hard to see why they have such a remarkable reputation in the box making industry.”
Both siblings are eagerly looking forward to the next event on the schedule which will take place at the historic Springfield Mile in Springfield, Illinois on May 24th.
