Medford, OR (September 18, 2012) - Flat Track, GNCC and EnduroCross return to action and so do Motorcycle-Superstore racers earning seven podium finishes and the points lead in the AMA Pro Racing Pro Singles Flat Track Series and the GNCC Women's class. Motorcycle-Superstore.cm competitors polished their finishes over the weekend and are now in position for more championship results.
AMA Pro Racing - Motorcycle-Superstore Pro Singles Flat Track Series:
After a rain-out the first weekend of this month, the AMA Pro Racing GNC Flat Track Series headed back to Springfield, IL, to make up for the washed-out round. This time around, the weather was perfect and so were several of the Motorcycle-Superstore.com supported riders. On Saturday night at the Short Track, the front row of the Pro Singles Final was dominated by Superstore athletes and when the race was completed, Dan Bromley was standing at the top of the podium with Wyatt McGuire in the second spot. This was Dan's first overall class win.
Dan Bromley recorded his first Pro Singles win this weekend at
Springfield. Wyatt Maquire was 2nd with William Cato grabbing 3rd.
Sunday was another great day for racing and the Pro Singles class saw eight Motorcycle-Superstore riders make it into the main event. With nine out of the twelve laps completed, Superstore riders had first through sixth place covered. A red flag produced a restart generating a five-lap sprint. When the dust settled and the checkered flag fell, Motorcycle-Superstore's Michael Bickerton stood third overall on the podium - the balance of our riders followed up with fourth, fifth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth overall. Going into next weekend's race at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California, Motorcycle-Superstore riders have a hold on the first six spots in the series with Stephen Vanderkuur leading the series by one point (151) over Jason Isennock (150), who is just one point in front of Jake Shoemaker (149). Ryan Wells, Dominic Colindres and Gerit Callies round out the top six.

Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series:
After the summer hiatus, the GNCC Series returned with a vengeance at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, NY, - and so did Motorcycle-Superstore.com's sponsored riders Andrew DeLong and Nick Davis. Both Fred Andrews Racing (FAR) Team Husqvarna racers stood on top the podium in the XC2 Division with DeLong taking first and Davis capturing third. DeLong is now third in the point standings and only 13 points off the championship lead with three rounds remaining.
Maria Forsberg continued her domination in the Women's Class with another first overall - Maria has won all ten rounds of the series in the Women's Class and the title at round nine - not to mention her recent X Games Gold Medal in EnduroCross!
AMA GEICO Motorcycle EnduroCross Series:
Similar to the GNCC Series, EnduroCross also took a summer break returning this weekend to the Citizen's Bank Arena in Ontario, CA, for the fifth round of the series. After swapping the lead with eventual winner and current EnduroCross Champion, Taddy Blazusiak, Motorcycle-Superstore.com's Cody Webb finished a solid second and is now standing second overall in the series with three rounds left.
