Pro Singles Ready for the Big Show

New for 2009 is the Pro Single Grand National Series where riders compete on 450cc production based motorcycles in all disciplines of the AMA Pro Grand National Flat Track Series; Short Track, TT, Half Mile and Mile.

Just like the expert class, the Pro Single National Champion will be crowned at the conclusion of the series in Pomona, California on October 24th.

Opening the series in Daytona with a win on Wednesday night was #17m Brad Baker on Honda. The second night of racing the win went to #71b James Rispoli also on a Honda.

Springfield will be the first chance for these riders to compete in a TT and on the ultra fast mile Springfield Mile. The multi-brand class is set to introduce the future stars of the AMA Pro Grand National Series to National Caliber racing.
