We got to the track early Saturday morning, it was very hot and sticky in Hagerstown. The Weirbach Racing team and I spent the morning finalizing a deal that would put me on one of their Hondas. We had been talking about a deal for a while so I was glad to become part of the team. So that night we ended up trying his bike out in the practice and it worked great handled nice, had a lot power.

Qualifying came around and I was on my Weirbach Racing Honda for the first time. I went out for the first session and qualified 4th not to bad for my first time on the bike. I went out again for the second session and brought that one in qualifying with the fastest time in that session. Overall I qualified 4th fastest on the Honda. My new teammate Mikey Martin and I were in the first heat race front row. When the checkers came out Mikey came home with a first and I finished with a 3rd.

The top three went into a dash for cash and Mikey ended up second and I ended up with a third again, with Adam Bushman winning it. We made a gearing change after the dash because the track had changed a little since the heat races. The main rolled around and I had 5th pick and Mikey had 1st pick on the front row.

Adam got the hole shot I came out in second but Adam started pulling away, so I switch up my lines and started catching him. In the meantime I knew Mikey was catching me but all three of us were slowly getting away from the pack. Mikey drove around both of us with about 5 laps to go. I finally got by Adam for awhile and then he got me back and started pulling away again so I started to follow Mikey's line and started to catch Adam again, the white flag is out I'm in third and going into turn 3.

I drove it in real high and Adam drove it in real low and came out high, so I dove under him and got a good run by him to bring in a second behind my teammate who won the race.
