Tarren Santero Set to Return for 2025 Progressive American Flat Track Season
Posted on behalf of the Mission Roof Systems Team
Daytona Beach, Fla. (February 24, 2025) – Progressive American Flat Track is thrilled to announce that Tarren Santero will be returning to the grid in 2025 riding for the Mission Roof Systems Team with the continued support of long-time sponsor Vinson Construction. The first-generation racer from Petaluma, California, has wasted little time in making a name for himself, tallying an impressive 13 top-10 finishes in 2024 and scoring his first career professional podium at the Sturgis TT. Santero further cemented his status as a rising star by concluding the 2024 campaign as the only privateer among the top five in the championship standings.
“I’m excited to see what next year holds for me and the team,” said Santero. “Coming off the momentum I found late last year, we have a solid base heading into the season. Typically, it’s just me and my pops throwing educated guesses at the bike, but having Kayl Kolkman to bounce ideas off of will fill in that missing piece. I’ve already been doing some testing on next year’s bike and with the support from my team and my sponsors I think we have what it takes to start chasing after wins.”
Santero’s backstory reads like an American Flat Track dream. After starting his racing career at the age of 13, he’s built every race bike and motor he’s ever campaigned. His family had no racing heritage before him, making his rapid ascent a testament to grit, determination, and mechanical savvy. From small short tracks to the biggest miles in the country, Santero has proven he has the talent to run up front.
Santero’s 2024 season was defined by electrifying on-track showings and a relentless work ethic in the pits. His Sturgis TT podium finish was an especially proud moment for this humble-but-hungry racer, who juggles the responsibilities of privateer life both at home and at the track. With a renewed focus and additional insight from new collaborator Kayl Kolkman, all signs point to Santero’s 2025 campaign being one to watch.
Progressive American Flat Track fans can expect to see Santero bring his customary drive and thrill-a-minute style to the 2025 season, which promises even bigger battles and more adrenaline-pumping action across the country.
