TeamHurtByAccident.com Lima Bound
Ready for action, rookie sensation Brad Baker heads for Lima looking to put his Lloyd Brothers Motorsports/TeamHurtByAccident.com Ducati in the front of the field at Allen County Fairgrounds on June 25 in Lima, Ohio.
“We definitely struggled last time out at Hartford Motor Speedway in Hartford, MI,” says Baker. “It was pretty much a one groove track and if you got out of the groove, you went backwards. We were 3rd fastest in practice and won the Semi race, but things just didn’t work out for us in the Main. We dropped back in points, but hopefully can make up for lost ground this coming weekend.”
Round 3 in the AMA Pro Grand National Twins Class, Baker and the Lloyd Brothers Motorsports crew recently tested at Lima and were extremely pleased with the results.
“Brad is an incredible racer,” say both David and Michael Lloyd. “He is very talented and it is a pleasure to have him on our team. He has one thought and that is to win and he gives it his all each time out. He was incredibly fast at the test and if things go our way, Lima should definitely be a good round for us.”
“The test was way cool,” sums up Baker, who took a podium finish last weekend at the Peoria TT Hot Shoe National. “The crew gave me an awesome Ducati and I like the track. The action is going to be fast and furious and I plan to be right in the thick of it. I raced Lima last year in the Pro Singles and won and I would like to do it again.”
“We are pleased to be partnered with Brad and Lloyd Brothers Motorsports,” says attorney C.J. Czaia. They are coordinating a season-long Fund Raiser to raise funds for the Flat Track portion of the Road Racing World Action Fund and that is something that is extremely important to us. Safety is always a major concern to us and anything we can do to make racing safer for the riders is very beneficial to everyone involved.”
Lloyd Brothers Motorsports will be at all the AMA Pro Mile and Half-Mile races and you can get a raffle ticket from them or simply make a donation right at the track.
