(October 25,2012) - It's official! Newly crowned AMA Pro Grand National Champion Jammin' Jared Mees #1 will have a new mechanic spinning the wrenches for 2013! Joining the already potent Rogers Racing Team for next year is legendary mechanic/tuner Kenny Tolbert. Kenny was the mechanic for 7 Time GNC Champion Chris Carr for many years, and is highly respected in the Professional Flattrack community.

Team owner Craig Rogers had this to say: "Brent did a fantastic job for us for the last nine years, but things change in this business, and we had to make a change going forward into next year. I feel with Kenny on board, we will be equally successful in our quest for another Championship season." Jared, and his "Rogers Racing Team" is going to have a whole encyclopedia of knowledge coming their way next year, which is only going to make this Team even stronger. The most excited person in this, is none other than the new Champ himself... "I wanted to work with Kenny a few years back, but it didn't work out back then. I'm just so happy going into next year and knowing Kenny Tolbert is going to be my mechanic. I couldn't get a better guy than him!"

Kenny's resume is extensive, as a Expert GNC rider he earned National #16. After racing he signed on to work with Tex Peel on Ricky Grahams XRs. In 1988, Tolbert was hired as an outside contractor to the Harley-Davidson Racing department, and in that capacity began his long and successful association with Chris Carr. Tolbert-built machines have won more than 50 National races, and he has built and maintained all the motorcycles on which Carr has won his 7 Grand National titles.

The Rogers Racing Team was proud to have worked with Brent Armbruster for the last few years and for Jareds 2012 Grand National Championship season. They also want to wish Brent the "Best of Luck" on his future endeavors.
