Weirbach Racing Announces the Sponsorship Support of Jesse Janisch

OTTUMWA, Iowa (August 26, 2010) - Weirbach Racing announces the sponsorship support of Jesse Janisch, National No. 45, for the remaining five AMA Pro K&N Filters Grand National Championship (GNC) presented by Motorcycle-Superstore.com events. Janisch will be riding their newly completed SV650 Suzuki on the remaining miles and ½ mile. Travis Smith and Jesse’s dad, Steve Janisch, will be helping out in the pit area.


Dick Weirbach, a 37 year veteran of the AMA Pro GNC Flat Track racing scene said "I am very excited to have an opportunity to work with Jesse, Steve and Travis for the rest of this season. They are great people and have excellent knowledge of Flat Track racing. Our goal is to challenge for podiums and have a great time too.’’ stated Weirbach. About Weirbach Racing:

Weirbach Racing is ran and owned by Dick Weirbach, a veteran of the AMA Pro GNC Flat Track scene for better than 35 years, and his son, Ted. They also sponsor two Pro Singles riders (No. 20T Mike LaBelle and No. 91Y, Mikey Martin). Dick ran as a novice in the late 60’s, and even owned a Bultaco motorcycle shop for eight years. He is currently retired and started sponsoring riders under his own program in 2000. Ted has to still work for a living and lives in Texas. The names of the riders that have had the pleasure to work with Dick are notables, such as: Henry Wiles, Robbie Pearson, Sammy Halbert, Aaron King, Davey Durelle, Johnny Murphree, and more.
