Yamaha Continues as an OEM Partner of Progressive AFT and Title Sponsor of Senoia Short Track

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 26, 2025) Progressive American Flat Track, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, is proud to once again name Yamaha Motor Corp., USA an OEM Partner of Progressive AFT for the 2025 season.

Further underlining its commitment to the series, Yamaha will also continue its tradition of serving as the title sponsor for the Yamaha Senoia Short Track, which will take place on Saturday, March 29, at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. This will be Yamaha’s third consecutive season holding down that role in Senoia, as well as the sixth time the manufacturer has done so for Progressive AFT rounds held in the greater Atlanta area since opening its Marietta, Georgia, offices in 2018.

Yamaha is coming off a remarkable Progressive AFT campaign in 2024 with even greater ambitions for 2025. Last season, the superstar Mission AFT SuperTwins tag team of Dallas Daniels and JD Beach – who filled in for the injured Daniels at three rounds – combined to finish on the podium in all 16 races aboard the Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07. During that run, the duo racked up five victories in all with an average finishing position of better than second place (1.875).

The brand was equally well represented in AFT Singles presented by KICKER competition where the ascendant Tom Drane led all riders with seven victories while earning a total of 13 podiums in 16 attempts aboard the Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F.

Daniels and Drane will be back on Yamahas in 2025 and are universally accepted as leading contenders for their respective thrones.

Yamaha will celebrate that success with their employees and its fans at Senoia, bringing some 250 employees to the event, while boasting an impressive presence in the Fan Zone and a dedicated branded parking area.

"Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (YMUS) and Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Company (YMMC) are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of this year's Senoia Short Track, marking our third consecutive year of supporting this exciting family-friendly event,” said Bob Brown, President of Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America. “We are passionate about providing fun and engaging activities for our team members, allowing them to witness Yamaha products in action and share in the excitement. We look forward to continuing our involvement in the community and showcasing the innovation and excellence that Yamaha stands for."
