Jeffrey Lowery is one of a number of Progressive American Flat Track racers who successfully reignited their careers with the introduction of the Mission Production Twins class.
Lowery was an extremely accomplished amateur dirt tracker, having been named the AMA Grand Championship Athlete of the Year and AMA Dirt Track Horizon Award winner in 2013.
Coming off of those honors, he proved an instant contender in the GNC2 category, claiming a sixth-place result at the Peoria TT in his professional debut just days after turning 16 in 2013. He added a fourth-place result a few weeks later at Colonial Downs for good measure.
Lowery picked up his first GNC2 podium the following season. A steady climb saw him enjoy his finest season on the undercard in 2016, in which he claimed two podiums en route to a top-ten championship ranking.
Lowery raced in the premier class in 2017, making the Lima Half-Mile Main and securing points for a 15th-place result.
After a year away from the box score, the one-time hot prospect returned in impressive fashion in 2019 as an Mission Production Twins racer. He collected three top tens during the course of the season and looked to have rediscovered his old form by the season finale at the Meadowlands, where he rounded out his ‘19 campaign with a fourth-place finish.
In ‘21 and ‘22, Lowrey notched up four top-ten results among 12 points-paying finishes.
Lowery proved he could compete against the best of the best in 2023, claiming a pair of top tens among his nine points-paying finishes in the premier Mission SuperTwins class.
