Nick McFadden is one of a handful of versatile riders hailing from the Owensboro, Kentucky, area who train together and all just happen to be blisteringly quick on pavement and dirt.
McFadden opened his racing career at the age of four and went on to collect numerous amateur titles in both flat track and roadracing. That stage of his career was capped off when he was named the 2011 AMA Youth Roadracer of the Year.
McFadden continued his rapid rise by earning a SuperSport podium finish in his AMA Pro Road Racing debut at Barber Motorsports Park in 2013. He garnered additional podiums in Superstock 600 action in ‘15 and ‘16 before emerging a class race winner and title contender in 2017.
He then stepped up to the MotoAmerica Supersport class, and proceeded to score multiple top-five finishes in 2018 and 2019.
McFadden enters select Progressive American Flat Track events when his roadracing schedule allows. His brightest moment on dirt yet came at the 2018 DAYTONA TT, where he finished inside the top five in the Parts Unlimited AFT Singles opener.
While it should come as no surprise that the full-time roadracer is at his best on TT circuits, he’s also scored points on a Mile in both Parts Unlimited AFT Singles and Mission Production Twins action.
