Morgen Mischler
Morgen Mischler credits his grandfather, William, for making racing the family business. In addition to founding Mischler Harley-Davidson in 1958, William also built a race track, paving a career path for generations of racers to follow.
Despite his status as a seven-time region champion, Mischler once admitted he still wasn’t completely confident he could compete with the best racer’s in the nation.
Any lingering doubts were obliterated at the 2018 Texas Half-Mile, when Mischler out-dueled Shayna Texter-Bauman – the winningest rider in Parts Unlimited AFT Singles history – with a heroic final-lap performance to earn his maiden Progressive American Flat Track victory by a scant 0.094 seconds.
The fact is, those doubts should have been long gone by then anyway. Mischler showed himself to be a top-ten finisher almost as soon as he turned pro, and within a couple seasons of his series debut, Mischler had finished on the podium.
However, the Wisconsin native’s stunning victory in Texas did mark the beginning of a new era for him; From ‘18-23, Mischler registered 28 podiums and four victories, including back-to-back third-place championship finishes in Parts Unlimited AFT Singles in 2021 and 2022.
