The highly touted Evan Renshaw was greeted with lofty expectations as he entered the Progressive American Flat Track ranks as a rookie in 2024. The advance hype was a result of the Pennsylvanian’s outstanding amateur career, where he garnered multiple national titles, culminating in the 2023 Nicky Hayden AMA Flat Track Horizon Award.
Renshaw did not disappoint, registering ten top tens in his maiden AFT Singles season, including a pair of top fives. However, most observers feel that he only scratched the surface in ‘24, and that Renshaw has the potential to emerge a podium finisher in race winner in his 2025 sophomore campaign.
A protege of multi-time Progressive AFT champion Cory Texter, Renshaw has the talent, support, work ethic, and desire to make the same sort of impact as some similarly heralded amateur stars in recent seasons, riders including the likes of Dallas Daniels, Trevor Brunner, Kody Kopp, Chase Saathoff, and Tom Drane.
