Tarren Santero didn’t start riding until the comparatively ‘late’ age of 11 but proved a quick study. He was racing motocross and flat track a year later and showed immediate promise.
After proving himself to be one of the top riders on the competitive Northern California scene, Santero made his professional debut in 2021. Thrown into the lion’s den that is the ultra-deep Parts Unlimited AFT Singles class, he secured his first points at the Atlanta TT, but perhaps more importantly gained valuable experience and the knowledge of exactly what he was up against.
Santero came back that much stronger in 2022, notching up five points-paying finishes, including a pair of top tens.
He continued that upward trajectory in 2023, claiming two more top tens among his 13 points-paying results.
Outside of motorcycle racing, Santero also likes to scoot, bicycling, and longboard.
